The Anatomy of a Sewing Machine Class Kicks Off Series on Thursday; The Easy, Peasy, Squeezy Drawstring Bag Class Follows on Friday

The first two-hour classes include The Anatomy of a Sewing Machine on Thursday, March 31, and The Easy, Peasy, Squeezy Drawstring Bag on Friday, April 1. Both classes are available at three time slots daily and will take place at Etsy Labs located at 55 Washington Street, Suite 712 in Brooklyn. BERNINA educator, Christine Gist and sewing expert, Gayle Schliemann will teach the classes. Registration is required as space is limited. The Anatomy of a Sewing Machine class will teach attendees how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, load the bobbin, and sew in a straight line. Additionally, attendees will learn important sewing vocabulary in order to follow patterns and other tutorials.

The Easy, Peasy, Squeezy Drawstring Bag class will teach attendees the basics of operating a sewing machine, along with machine techniques needed to make a practical drawstring bag.
